Is it just my mc client or are chat colors gone? If it is me what is the fix?
Also i saw /fly is on the donate rewards an i wonder what the rules regarding its use in pvp will be .
As for chat colors I think optifine or some mod breaks them, godjmike got a client fix for it though, so you can try talking to him.
As for rules: No use of /fly + pvp, I think it's pretty clear

What client? Or do you just have optifine/improved chat, w/e it is?
Just the standard client, i redownloaded it to see if that helped.
Yea, my brother has been experiencing this same problem on his computer. I'm not sure whats causing it.
I have both and I can see them fine I believe.

IIRC If you have /fly you cannot pvp at all. You can either be allowed to PvP or have the /fly command (ofc you have to donate for it).
So going into flymode disables pvp?
I don't think it disabled it but if you PVP while in fly mode you will be banned. Same goes for god mode.
The chat colors don't appear on my laptop but they do on my regular pc.
I know for a fact that you have a laptop andrew, so that might be it. One question though, what does your laptop/computer have (vista, xp, 7, ect.)?
