So I am setting up my own bukkit server and I really need to know what plugins to get. Please post some plugins that are useful.

Saying your going to Xray and getting mad at me isn't really a way to make friends.
However, since I am a nice guy, if you have questions, I might be able to give you a hand.
Ive administrated more servers than I would care to count.
Also, get a backup plugin.
SimpleBackup works well.
What kind of box are you thinking of getting? And the specs?
Get linux with SSH and sFtp access if at all possible.
And the more ram the better!
I'm setting the server up on windows xp with 3gb ram. Don't tell me to get windows 7 because I kinda prefer xp better.
I do not expect the server to get too big.
Also can someone set a server up with some good plugins like a backup, Ranks, world edit, Iconomy and any other plugins that are essential for running good server and email it to me or something because I seriously do not no how to do anything when it comes to servers.
Also I can't get my friend to connect he says I need to port foward or something.

If you can't portforward, you don't have a server for global access...
I can set up you plugins folder for you, depending on how many plugins you want, i might charge some Gil. Just pm me the plugins you want, and for permissions, tell me what groups you want and what commands each group should have.

If you cannot setup the plugins in the first place, you really shouldn't be running a server in the first place.
Check out a couple youtube videos first, and then actually try to make the server.
Are there any error messages? What exactly is preventing you from putting this thing together?

The only error message I can remember is "Has the server time changed or is it overloaded" Something like that
And if you took the time to google that, you would have found out that error message is in fact not an error message and just means that the server time, and real time are not in sync.
What happened to people not looking to be spoonfed everything and instead using their initiative to find things out? How do you think I made the server in the first place?
And I will accept UK minimum wage for server customization and configuration, ty.
