Well spoken giygas, well spoken
Yeah I became a brony just out of pure curiosity. I saw so many memes on the internet and I thought to myself "Why are these people posting about ponies! its a show for little girls!"

So I went on YouTube to find out that it wasn't that bad!

Of course some people don't like the show.....that does not mean you should hate or even say that being gay is bad. I am 100% straight but I still respect Gays and stuff.

So your right we shouldn't be treated with such hatred just because we like a certain show, but it sucks because there is no way we can stop it :/
...... Well now I know that everyone DOESN'T know what a brony is ......

It has been said multiple times, we do know what it means to be a brony and what a brony is!

But if you are just to lazy or to dumb to read, here is a quick summary:

The term Brony has been put together by the words Brother and Pony. A person that likes watching "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is defined has a Brony, most say it doesn't matter which gender the person is but some (including me) prefer to call female bronies "Pegasisters".
Both terms came from 4chan where some of the users made a thread about the upcoming new My Little Pony series and said they are going to check out the first episode when it airs (Yes, that was when it aired for the first time) and to make fun of it. They quickly realized that the show isn't so bad and they told about their experience on 4chan. Thus other people checked it out too and liked it too and for some reason they started to call themselves Bronies and Pegasisters, though as I already said, the term Pegasister is optional.

Bronies also seem to have some talents like drawing, making music, writing stories, editing videos (me) or even making Fan Animations (Fanimations).

Blame ragequiter, he started it.
God damn it. Right, this aint exactly what it is. But this is my view on what a "Brony" is ... There is no such thing as a Brony, it's just something that has been tagged to male viewers out of the primary demographic of the show to separate and easily recognise someone for what they like. The reason I hate useing Brony as a tag or anything along the lines is because it near enough always "auto-selects" someone out of a group to be trolled and to gtfo to the Pony section of a forum or just another forum entirely. It's fucking moronic, do you see stuff like this when the subject is on other ccartoon. NO! If someone goes onto a forum and says they like Pokemon or another show whose primary demographic is children then everyone joins in saying how good the shows and games are. Their views and opinions on the subject are not forced into another section/forum. And in my view aswell this tag has warped the community of mlp viewers, because people have just bent over and taken it just because some retards can't get around the fact that some people like different things and like to share their views. So yeah, that's my view on what a Brony is, I am now also prepaired for the amount of people this has probably angered.

Just gonna say something here.

Pokemon is targeted for boys, My Little Pony is not.

Also, people are being told to move to other sections because the other people don't want to hear it. Such as, if I was arguing with GoDjMike over politics in game, wouldn't you get annoyed if we started talking constantly, having other people join in, and overall smothering all other conversation?

/2cents
I wouldn't get annoyed, I don't get all pissy because some people are talking constantly, let them talk. Or you could simply ignore them.

>implying /ignore actually works
I don't mean use /ignore, I just mean you can not look at the chat bar/what they're saying.
Sure, whatever. But, as Giygas said, the pony posts were getting out of hand.
