I like the background. The color of the font doesn't seem to go well with it though.

I think the font color is personal opinion. I like the red font.

Background and red font are good, just make the font bolder, it's hard to see.

I can see how you got the lines, but I'm a bit curious about the squares in the back

Also if you made the blue color a bit stronger and took the brightness down on the square layer I think that would add more contrast and add to the effect.
