Hey all,

I haven't been on the server long, but so far I love it and the players here (despite occasional greifers and Fuego of course xD ) are extremely willing to start big projects and work hard on their buildings/cities etc. But we occasionally get lazies who don't clean up after themselves.

In RL, I study geology/environmental science and preservation of the earth/plants/animals etc. This, combined with my strong hate for laziness, makes my blood boil every time I see something like this:

Nothing can be more lazy than this, and it never fixes itself. Of course this is a bannable offense and can be solved with a rollback, but its still very annoying to see in the first place. Orcworm has its borders, and within them there are only so much trees. The more and more members we get, the faster they will disappear. It is up to us, as players, to make sure that there is always a steady amount of wood available to build with.

SO! I had an idea to start a new "guild" on Orcworm: The Druids of Orcworm. As an active, willing VIP, I feel I could make this a very successful group to those willing to join.

Here are some ideas I had:

Perks for joining the guild:
  1. Free entry into the druid city I will start up shortly.
  2. Free equipment (at least iron quality).
  3. Free building resources, as often as I can keep up with demand.
  4. Rare free materials upon request, when they are available.
  5. A feeling of accomplishment for keeping our server pretty. Smile
  6. A nice, family-like guild with caring leaders.

Your duties as a druid:
  1. For every tree you cut down, plant one.
  2. Collect excess sapplings and put them in the chest in the druid sanctuary. (Unless you want to use them of couse).
  3. Immediately report any "floating trees" or people you see creating them.
  4. If you are truly awesome and willing, assist me in re-foresting barren areas.
  5. Help maintain the garden at the druid sanctuary.
  6. Help adding buildings to the sanctuary.
  7. Help repopulate the world with animals, using spawners or breeding.

Some prerequisites for joining the guild:
  1. Must be a donator, or a member who has gained MY trust (not other members).
  2. Must not have been banned for hacking within the last month.
  3. Must have a passion for preserving the forests in Orcworm (most important).
  4. Must be ready to report without mercy when it comes to floating trees or other natural disturbances that are against the rules. Even if you're reporting a friend.. They must learn their lesson.

Some rules and warnings:
  1. If you are found to be banned because of creating floating trees, and were previously part of the guild, you will be kicked out and killed whenever possible until you have made it apparent that you will not do it again.
  2. The same goes for griefing.
  3. Anyone found to be living on the land without doing their druidic duties at least every now and then will be kicked off and have their buildings removed (as it will technically be on my land). You will recieve several warnings before this happens, so there is no excuse.

This will primarily be a RP type of guild, where you will gain ranks within the guild and new awards for every rank. If the guild becomes big enough, we can give out greater rewards for promotion.

The "Sanctuary", which will be the name of our settlement, will probably be nothing more than a housing area for now. If we get enough members, perhaps one day we can make something like this:

Let me know if you are interested. The more interested people I get, the faster I'll get this all up and running.
