So i was wondering if the Normal Server will ever be reset, like returning the whole world to a new seed without any structures (besides of spawn area and the city) built on it, since the space used for building is getting less with every day eventually ending up in no more space left.
Also will the blocks placed by banned users will be removed after a certain interval? Because i had nero rollback some blocks of a user that has been banned for 46 days yesterday.
i wouldn't agree with this. many players and me would lost all. All the buildings that they worked so hard would be destroyed?.. that would suck, the server reset would be done for a very good reason, not only for banned players abandoned structures.

No i do not mean reset the server because of the banned players. I was asking in general if the server will be reset someday or more informational if theres a date already set up for the server reset.
Regarding the banned peoples i'd only suggest that their blocks are getting rolled back after they were banned a specified timeline (like 50 days or so).
This is not a request about resetting anything. It is a question. It's like saying "Can you tell me when the 5 hour bus arrives" and not like "Can you make the 5 hour bus arrive at 5:10"
If I'm right we aren't planning on resetting the map until the end of this year. However Orc may extend the boarders when 1.2 is released so as to give us some of the new forests. As to the removal of banned players blocks, I don't see a problem with is, it isn't like selling their blocks or anything like that and as long as they have been banned for more than a month or two if I remember correctly we don't allow them to appeal.
From my experience we typically reset the map every five to six months, depending on how crowded it was. As paradox said I'll probably just extend the border a thousand blocks or two instead.

So does that mean that the 6 month reset mark is almost here/passed? If I remember correctly it was reset sometime in September?
November was the last reset but I don't think we'll do another for a few months yet. If not anything else I don't have the time to manage things like that at the moment anyway.
