So bought a too-good-to-be-true pc from this guy, you may have seen him on before, and few months after he kept saying 'ohh probs lost in post' and all that bs, he ignores me on steam + can't retreive purchase chats on steam because well..it doesn't save them. Shit. Can't get the law involved because he can still use 'ohh probs lost in post'. Sooo, any ideas?
That's what you get for not using something smart like eBay.
He can't prove that it's lost in the 'post'. Ask him for the tracking number of the shipment, and if he can't give you it, he never sent it and you have just reason to find out where you money has gone. If it was bought through PayPal, take back your payment. Exhaust all possibilities before you get the law involved.
He is ignoring me and though i asked several times he never gave me the tracking code, paypal asks permission to him for refund, and he'll obviously refuse, etc etc etc. Believe me, i've looked into it
So, if its a too-good-to-be-true computer, and it was a really cheap price, why would you buy it? Doesn't that set off some red flags or something? If you can't get the money back, I guess its just 50 quid to a lesson you won't forget. :p
