I was wondering something and I just wanted to have an admin reply to my question:
If greif is destroying blocks placed down by someone, does that mean I can destroy all the ground around a house, leaving it hovering in the air, and not get banned for greifing? As I didn't destroy any blocks placed down that person?
Cheers

Nice reading skills let me help you.

Code:
Section 1: Griefing

Part 1: Defining griefing

1) Griefing is the act of vandalism. Vandalism is illegal and a bannable offence
2) Griefing is the removal or addition of blocks in/on a structure, build, or plot of land that is owned by someone else or marked by someone else.
3) Griefing includes building directly or [b]immediately above, surrounding, or below someone else's creation.[/b] Try to build atleast 10 blocks away from another player's creations.
4) Griefing includes setting fire to other player's structures or blocks.
5) If your water or lava touches other player's creations, this is considered griefing.
6) Theft of other player's water or lava is considered griefing
7) The use of water buckets to gain access to structures you normally would not be able to enter is considered griefing.
8) Theft of other player's blocks is considered griefing.
9) Using a player's temporary rune (e.g. powerpick, farmer's charm, ice pick, etc) is considered griefing unless express permission by the creator of the rune was given.
9.1) A teleport rune is a permanent rune, so using one is not considered griefing.
10) Leaving floating tree tops will result in a short temporary ban.
11) Theft from a chest that is glitched due to the LWC plugin is considered griefing
11.1) To check if a chest is glitched, type in /cinfo. If the response says, "that air is not registered" or "that air is registered", the chest is glitched.
11.2) Not knowing about this rule is not an excuse.

I don't see how you could summarize that into 'destroying blocks placed by someone else'.
Cheers Jar(:

It's a relief that i'm not the only one
You know sir, you have inspired me to start a huge project to get rid of those damn guests and members.
I am going to build a GIANT moat ALL THE WAY AROUND spawn, so dem damn guests and members can't be apart of this server. I think we have enough people as it is on this server, so let's get rid of dem new ones so we may once again have a better place in society. Ye should join me on this project mah friend. Afterwards we could maybe have a beer or 9 and build a house OVER someone elses house so when they try to leave, they'll be trapped in a box so they caint get out, and if they do, they'd have to grief and we could get MOAR people banned. So whaddah you say Rum, ye dig my idea?
Hit me up sometime
