Sounds good to me, according to minecraft wiki you need to enchant a tool with at least an lvl 44 enchantment to gain fortune 3, just a FYI.

I had a fortune 3 D pick and i lost it to somehow. Also i enchanted mine at level 42 not 44

Well, wikis can't always be right.

Gigyas, surely you can just farm to level 50 and get it yourself? Or did you try that and not get it xD

Been trying for days if you haven't already noticed. But I dont need lvl 50 for it, just 44.
