I have no idea if there has been a thread on this or not, but i was wondering what your guys' highest words per minute is (on a keyboard of course)

This is probably somewhat good for my age (me being 14 soon 14) but my record is like 64 words per minute.

I only got like 50 something, but i type pretty weird. Do all of you use the same method?

Home row is for faggots. I just use my thumb, index, and middle fingers, and i get about 80 wpm.

Exactly. With my extremely nonsensitive keyboard, home row just doesnt work.

I had a programming teacher who refused to let us use templates for building our programming assignments so our headers and all always had to be typed out. You learned how to type fast if you wanted to get your homework done. On that note, I also play violin. I could be faster but that would mess accuracy.

It should also be noted that my birthday is August 4th.. I'm getting older. i can feel the carpal tunnel setting in already after years of wrist abuse lol.
