Hello there. Some of you may know me as music, some as Slappy the pornstar.
Today I offer an inquisition. Anybody who appreciates fine literature, art, and a well-thought out ass kicking storyline (like me) would appreciate the godly thing I'm about to introduce to the fine people of orcworm. This right 'cher is a game from about 1992 on none other than the Sega Genesis console. It's a TRPG/ Strategy RPG (Tactical role playing game, strategy role playing game). The name of it is none other than Shining Force. Now you may be wondering "y dis cracker be talkin about dis borin shit that nuone cures about?" I need more common traits with friends, and I'm looking for someone who also enjoys this godly series.
Or maybe someone who could get in to it. Below I have provided pictures with the original North American box cover art for the Genesis, the box cover art for the GBA remake, and a picture of my favorite character (dat Gort). Seems to me like the demograph has shifted towards first-person shoot-em-ups, but just because something is old doesn't make it obsolete.

I was a fan of the Shining series, until it went all hack-and-slash and away from its turn-based strategy roots.

The fact that it got remade a couple of decades after the original release says something. Not all games stand the test of time so well.

In related news, I'm attempting to build some pixel art of Zylo. (The werewolf, and best character in-game)
But 105x82 blocks is a bit difficult without the ability to fly, so it may take a while...

If you need some help with taller pieces etc let me know

Music, thanks for finishing the Zylo pixel art for me! (I think I'll make my future art attempts on the ground...)

If you want to make some more Shining FOrce pixel art for yourself, then this is where I got the Zylo sprite:

• Shining Force (GBA)
  
• Shining Force 1 (Genesis)
  
• Shining Force 2 (Genesis)
  

Just save an image you want and put it through Woolify.
Goes without saying that the 16bit Genesis sprites should be easier to do, but the GBA ones may work also...
