Well I wanna "re-build" my old pc into a rather decent gaming pc. I've got the know-how on how to put it all together, but I have no idea of what sort of graphics card and stuff like that would be a good choice. So does anyone know what stuff I should buy. Direct links to the items would be great. But I don't wanna be spending something stupid like 500+ on just a graphics card. Any suggestions.
Need a budget for whole system.
I would recomend the AMD Vision Black. Very good. Roughly $450 though.

There's a limit as to how much some computers can be upgraded, is there not?
The only reason i say that is because i believe when i bought my computer it said something like, "Not much room to tinker with" in a review or something. Plus i don't think i'm able to upgrade the graphics card. I don't know too much about computers though, so i'm not one to say much about it.
I don't realy have a budget for the entire thing, I just don't want to end up spending rediculous amounts on a graphics card. I'm mainly aiming it to be able to run some mmo's and a few fps (doesn't need to be max settings) at a resonable speed. Cos, despite my laptop being able to run some stuff well, it gets let down by it's graphics card and limited 3gb of ram. :(
upgrading laptops is a bit of an issue, friend
I ain't your friend, pal.
