Well, first come first server is what I'd do. For example, if Killer1 wanted the name Killer, then Killer2 wanted the name Killer as well, and Killer2 got it before Killer1, Killer1 would have to find another name.

Personally, I'm a bit tired of people asking why my name is DoughnutSpanker or if I spank doughnuts. I'd like to change my name to Dough or Doughnut. :/

If there were a poll for this, maybe they'd install the plugin?

This isn't a practical idea, ie kicking spammers etc. It isn’t necessary either, would just cause confusion. If you don’t like your name get a new account.
