As I won't be as active any longer I've made a mossy/enderstone arena and an obsidian fort for my dragon egg as a bit of a monument.

Credit to Snooby for his help on the arena.

Build for the tower took about 7 hours here is the list of material totals:

Obsidian : 3600
Mossy cobble : 3000
Enderstone : 1500
Bookshelves : 500
Lava buckets : 1000
Diamond blocks : 85
Gold blocks : 200
Lapis blocks : 200
Iron blocks : 400
Wood / Glowstone : 1000+

I couldn't get that much if I played a month straight

I was wondering the same thing. Even if you didnt mine it all buying it all would have been equally as hard. Iron tends to cost 1 Gil per ingot, gold around 2, lapis idk around 10 for a block, and diamonds are around 100.(and those are the prices on a good day) you can do the math and see that that's well over 8000, which if all your resources went to building this what did you sell to get the money for buying. You didn't donate for all of it, unless you donated over 80 GBP.

he got the money by monstergrinding i think he had over 100+ spawners
and by selling a lot of spawners

Me / snooby / joethepro/ potjie / wazam all went spawner hunting till we had 200 spawners then I grinded for like 6 hours a day to get my 100k. I sold my excess apwners for like 50k and boought the majority of my diamond. Also i got about 20k worth of loot from pvp like I never once made any diamond tools / swords I just got them as loot lol.
