Headphones - ProjectG - 05-01-2012

This thread is a question, that question being about SkullCandies.

now from what i heard from some "people", is that Skullcandy is a decent headphone brand, but not the best (the fu). As some of you may already know, i have headphones and a microphone as i talk on skype and whatnot, but im looking into getting Skullcandies. (Specifically the microphone department, Skullcrushers)

The Question: What types of Skullcandy Mic'd headphones work with PC, so if i end up getting them, i dont get fucked in the ass.
I know in this thread it seems im showing a shitton of favor to Skullcandy, and some of you are just gonna go like:

>Skullcandy
Noob FGT Crew has arrived, has it?

But honestly my headset as of now is like.. 25% of a real headset.

Logitech G35.

120$ if you're unlucky.

Shouldn't be a problem for a VIP, right?

RE: Headphones - MrNadapader - 05-01-2012

So you're just looking for a pair of headphones without a giant lapel sticking out in front?

RE: Headphones - ProjectG - 05-01-2012

@Nada yeah i was looking into skullcandy a bit after a couple of my friends shoplifted them from walgreens (the crappy ones)

@krellyn after how i spammed you, im not sure if i should trust your judgement or not.
Seeing as you are an audiophile though, im gonna look into that.

I'm using the Logitech G35 and have been for a year. It's 2.1 by default, and has a switch at the back of the left monitor to switch into 5.1 Surround Sound mode.

It's probably the best (if you don't mind looking like an idiot) headset you can get for the price.

I've gone through over 9 different headsets before I found the right one.

And even at that, I'm getting rid of these and using my studio headphones with a microphone.

But that's unrelated. Just get the G35—my suggestion.

If one hassle of it is looks, its kinda meh, i did want a stylish headset but i guess that isnt the point, seeing as headphones main use is for clear audio, so i guess looks arent a problem if it sacrifices for good quality

But you can't pull off style.

RE: Headphones - ProjectG - 05-01-2012

Didnt wanna pull off style, just wanted to look at em and say they looked.. Nice.

Skullcandies are worthless, they may have decent quality and a brand that a lot of people will recognise, but they break too easily and realy aren't worth the money. The G35's are your best bet.

Small head? My G35 hurts my sister's head and she's got a rather small one.

I've got a fucking massive head, but my ears don't like pressure.
