Nice for bored players - Sammeh48 - 05-11-2012
EDIT: Any money made by the guild is now spread over all members of the guild.
Well im in france right now, but i've been thinking and this is my idea.
1. Each person has a job like mining, woodcutting, sand mining.
2. A system if you press a button you get 64 of the block you need. (i will make this system)
3. So if its your job to mine sand it means you have to keep your dispensers filled.
4. We have a idea board everyone can leave a message on like oowh he lets make this.
5. Then everyoone who wants to help with the build within the guild can help with building.
6. So if the builders need 20 stacks of sand they just press the button of the sand block system 20 times.
7. And its the job of the sandminers then to keep the dispensers full enough so the system wont run out of sand.
8. If it isnt clear for you just come visit the guild once.
9. So its actualy just a guild that makes nice buildings all over the map, this will make the map nicer and we can use the buildings for city's etc.
10. If this idea will work out good, i will maybe make a option for people to hire us for making a building for them.
I dont have anything started yet bcs its still a idea pls pm me on the forums if you like to join the guild or have tips/idea's

1. Surface-mine-leader(1 searched)
2. Surface-mine-help(3 searched)
3. Sand-mine-leader(1 searched)
4. Sand-mine-help(2 searched)
5. Factory-leader(1 searched)

7. Woodcutter-leader(1 searched)
8. Woodcutter-help(3 searched)
9. Toolmaker-leader(1 searched)
10. Toolmaker-help(1 searched)

If you dont know what the factory does here it is:
The factory produces all smelted shit like :
Gold
Iron
Diamond
^^These will all be crafted in blocks so they can be used for building.
Then we have:
Glass
Stone
Bookcase's
^^ this ones will be used for building to.
And at last:
Bread
For the guys/garls who dont know what the toolmaker does here it is:
He makes stone tools for everyone and Iron picks for the miners.
Iron picks can only be used by miners though if they find something wha tcan only be mined with Iron picks like : Diamonds Redstone Gold.
Damn almost forgot 10 more jobs are avaible.(wrong spelled again)

8. Guards (as many as possible if you have a other job alreaady you can get this one as a 2th job)
9. Redstone guy (you have to be good with redstone 1 searched)

What does the flattener do?
He flattens area's where the guild is gunna build. (sometimes the guild just builds on unflattened land dont think we only build on flattened)
The Branch miners speak for them self i think.
What does the food gatherer?
Well he just collects food at a automated animal killer and while hes getting the food he just fish at the same time he doesn't collect bread the farmer does that.
What does the Bones/Arrow gatherer?
He just sits at a collection point where he picks up the Arrows/Bones.
Sheepkeeper what does he do?
He just shear sheeps for the wool so we can use it to build.
Guards MHM what do they do?
The Guards just defend mines and shit if they get atacked by other players or something.
Farmers what they do?
The farmers just harvest wheat and sugarcane's
Redstone guy what does he do?
He just fixes all the redstone work.
Glowstone miner what does they do?
They just mine glowstone in the nether for buildings.
You may think where all this gonna be? well heres your answer:
It will be in a kind of city the start of the city already is there.
Ofc most buildings we make arent in the city.
Planned buildings: (All of the ones currently on the list will be made inside the Builders guild city bcs, it will be nicer if the factory and shit are in the city)
The factory
Food gather building.
Bones/Arrows gather building
Woodcutter camp.
Surface mine camp.
Branch mine entrance
My secret system to get blocks by pressing buttons.
Mob grinder.
Nice nether portal.
Sugarcane/wheat farm.
Got any ideas for buildings just pm me.
That was all i think any quistion's or hints/tip's just leave a message here or pm me.

Sounds communist to me. So basically getting a giant group of people to collect items for the rest of the group so that they can...build houses or people? Or just make good stuff.
Seems like you could do this with a couple of friends if you wanted.

blake just everyone has a job to collect shit then if someone comes to me with a nice idea to build a house or something everyone in the guild who wants it can help building the resources for the build are gathered in the time there arent builds going on also this a guild for people who like to build bcs they just like me did everything they wanted to do. also there maybe are persons who just like to gather resources?

You guys missed the point 'for bored players' So it's not forcing them too just if they are bored they could collect resources for the guild. I think this could work.

I think this sounds like a very interesting idea, and I would love to see this working.
But I am a bit worried, that all the working will bore the players. You should make it so that they don't have to work ALL the time, but I think this will be great.

they dont have to work all the time just when the block system is getting empty so if the cobble block system is empty the miners have to work again. if its full they dont.
Farmers just can wait like 15 mins and then harvest with 1 button click then they replant and their done.
Guards just only have to work when a mine is getting atacked by pvpers or something.
And gatherers just stand afk for a half hour and they're done. and the standing afk isnt hard just when you play a other game go afk on minecraft.
First job is given away, to Blake4472 as sheepkeeper.
