Cooling Fans - DoughnutSpanker - 05-12-2012

Alright, after I was playing BF3 earlier and noticed my CPU reached a temperature of 150F, I decided I needed to switch from my shitty stock CPU fan, as I'm hoping to O/C soon. (It's utter shite, idles 81F)

Alright, I need a good, reliable CPU cooler. Fits AM3+ socket.

$50 - $100 preferrred.

Any ideas?

Hyper212+

65C load / 27C idle isn't that hot btw.

Edit: Nevermind, AMD, hot as fuck.

RE: Cooling Fans - DoughnutSpanker - 05-12-2012

Doesn't look like it's compatible with my CPU. Either that or I'm being retarded.

EDIT: Once again, not sure if it has to be compatible with both, or just the socket. My CPU is down there \/\/\/

EDIT: Screw it, I'll get it. Tongue

I don't think one piece of metal will mind what type of metal the other piece is, as long as they fit together.

I have a HAF 912, so s'all good. I got Orc's though, cheap, seems to work well according to reviews. And since I'm not running too terribly hot, don't need to go all out.

I shall, enjoy your CPU being smashed Tongue
