Nintendo approved official Legend of Zelda timeline! - NeroTheDarklord - 07-23-2012
For many years, players have been wondering how all the zelda games fit together. Many considered that with the events of ocarina of time, something must have happened to the timeline and split it. Yet, no one could ever come up with a plausible explanation how ALL games work together.
For almost as long, fans have been writing to nintendo to ask for a timeline, but nintendo always refused to give out such information.
Now, they finally changed their mind and explained how every last game fits chronologically.
Here is nintendo's official zelda timeline:
