Connection issues - Brohamlet - 08-14-2012
Whenever I try to connect to the Orcworm server it logs me in for about five seconds then logs me out and a screen pops up that says, "Internal exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset" it only does this with the orcworm server. I've tested many other servers and don't have this problem. Does anyone know what this is or how I can fix it?

Erm, force update minecraft? That happens with me when I use a different client.

If you can easily connect to the forums, then it might be an issue with your minecraft folder as a whole, or some shit with java.

My friend had the same problem, he cleaned up his entire computer, reinstalled java (he had about 10 versions of it), Reinstalled minecraft and launcher, tried in browser mode, nothing worked, in the end he tried running it with the normal amount of memory, (so no extra) and it worked, it might have been something to do with the new update not sure. Also you should try running it in the browser, might work even though it didnt for my friend.

I heard that mc servers go down a bit, i couldn't connect it kept saying cannot connect blah blah, i looked it up and they say some servers went down.
Just search 'minecraft servers down' on google.
