I care to disagree Jar, the whole 4 (possibly more, maybe up to 8 pre-made factions) is to allow new people straight away access to a faction of good standing.
Now instead of everyone for themselves battling with friends, we're making huge server wars between 4-8 different factions. Now new players can access a faction of good standing straight away.
Also, i don't want to imply that people still can't create their own factions, i believe that is still a precious idea, but they won't receive some special bonuses that these main factions will need to work
Also, with much help from Krios, we've finally found a way to make this work, and i'll be writing up a decent script within the next few hours i hope.

Ok well the whole concept works (i believe)
Stage two, names of races/factions/w.e you like. Shoot! Gimme some ideas.
After that, gotta think how many factions/race/blah, and who/how they'll be led.
Ive been playing this faction for a while now and i would love to have my own empire/faction thing, and i think my faction name allready fits races, "Daemons" although it is pronounced the same as demons it looks cooler in my opinion, but if you want we could just keep it as Demons.
Possibly under races, but i don't particularly like that name.
If races i'm thinking Orcs, Elves, Human, ext.
But i'm more interested in Emperial/Rebellion type stuff
For empires possibly elden, Eatherin, Vistonia, Hornmane meh some fantasy shit like that.
If I am to run a race/empire I was thinking that a cool name would be Hydronia/Hydronians.
I don't think any of these are hitting it for me.
I personally don't want names for Empires, but names OF empires.

Names FOR "empires", NOT of actual empires ;p.
("Empire" was just a random suggestion, feel free to go away from it, but i personally am not keen on these abstract names)

Sticking with the empire idea. I also like the Arcadia name.

Empire, Rebellion, Legions a new one, stuff like that.
I think we'll stick with races so far anyway.

What plugins are you using to make it work grint?
Kingdom, realm, imperium, arena, orbit, hegemony, but what your asking for grint is quite difficult and they all sound stupid/better than one another, for example a realm is better than a kingdom.
