Why Update?

Don't you find it annoying when minecraft updates ? All my favourite servers go down for up to a month. And really come on what was actually added to the game in 1.0? With 1.1 coming out soon you really have to ask yourself ; is it worth it? Whats more notch said that in 1.0 minecraft would become stable aka no more updates and of course that isnt true. Please spread this so others can see.

Final note (important) is minecraft a sandbox or RPG now?

Is it something you have totally missunderstood?..
We do not shutdown the server for a single hour for that update. If/when the plugins are working, we will update the server.

In other words, Do not update ur own minecraft untill it stays written on orcworm.co.uk "running minecraft version 1.1" or w/e...

Guys i dont only play on one server my own server has mods that i made that must also be adapted every update its a lot of work

Also notch never said they would stop releasing updates when 1.0 came out. Only that the updates that do come out will be far more stable than the ones in the past. Basically updating to 1.0 was just to finally have a version which they could tell reviewers to review.
